Music

Magic Alex

In the 1990s John Simm was a founding member, songwriter and lead guitarist with Magic Alex (named after the Beatles electronics wizard 'Magic Alex' Mardas).  Magic Alex played support on two UK tours with Echo & the Bunnymen.

Magic Alex released on album, Dated and Sexist,  in January 2007, although the they had actually disbanded  in 2005.  The album is available on ITunes, as a CD from the Band's website, and as an audio stream on the Magic Alex website.

Slidling

John also played guitar on a few of Bunnymen member Ian McCulloch's live gigs, including one at Wembley Arena as main support to Coldplay.   He also played guitar on the track 'Slidling' on Ian McCulloch's album of the same name, released in 2003.

I Am Kloot

Not - technically - music that John has produced, rather an appearance in the video for 'Some Better Day' by I Am Kloot.
